Product Introduction

Pneumatic conveying system is also named as airflow conveying system. It takes use of the airflow energy to deliver the granules along the airflow direction inside the closed pipeline. It is application of fluidization technology. It is divided into negative pressure conveying and positive pressure conveying. The negative conveying normally takes Roots vacuum pump as power source to vacuumize the materials tank into some vacuum state. Under the atmospheric pressure, two phases flow of material and gas forms at the air inlet, and they enter the cyclonic separator through the pipeline. The two phases flow inside the cyclonic separator under the action centrifugal force and gravity, separate most materials from the gas. And separated materials enter into the materials tanks, a small amount of material go into the dust collector together with the gas. Through the filtration bag, the powder is separated from the gas and recycled. And the gas will be discharged to the atmosphere. Positive pressure conveying takes Roots fan as power source. The air temperature at the fan out is lowered to room temperature when it passes through cooler, and the cooled air is stored in the air tanks. The materials enter to transportation pipeline from sending tanks. Due to the fixed-frequency opening and closing of solenoid valve, the compressed air forms pulse air flow(air knife). With the help of air knife, materials are distributed(the material is in plunger state in the pipeline). With static pressure difference before and back the plug, the materials are pushed forward. After the mixture of materials and air enter into the material tank with pulse type dust collector, the air and materials are separated, materials are stored while air is discharged.

Screw conveyor is not suitable for transportation of perishable, high viscosity, or easy to agglomerate materials.

    Negative conveying is characterized in reliable airtight, dust-free environment. The requirement of equipment maintenance is low, so it is easy for the  workers to do machine operation. Multi-points charging and discharging are available. The centrifugal fan and Roots fan can be taken as power source, long service life. No materials accumulation inside the pipeline .It has good adaptability to different materials, powder and granular materials can be smoothly transported.

    Positive pressure conveying is characterized in reliable airtight, dust-free environment. The automatic operation of system is available. Low flow speed but large conveying capacity and has little affect on materials quality. Multi-point charging and discharging are available. No materials accumulation in the pipeline. The system have high requirements of various electric components and quality of technical personnel.

      Working Principle

      Positive Pressure delivery (Recommended):  The low pressure air from the air source go to the pump diffusion room after going through regulation valve (or pressure relief valve), butterfly check valve, flexible air pipeline, spraying nozzle. The powders or granules will be blown off when they fall down from the hopper to high-speed air flow area between the spraying nozzle  and the diffuser. Together with gasification of the bottom gasification device, the materials are gasified and become suspension. And then the materials are delivered to the tapered tube of the diffuser by the high-speed airflow. Go to the delivery pipe after going through the diffuser throat until the required discharging port. Then the process finishes.
