Double Planetary Mixer Introduction

The Double Planetary Mixer is named because the mixing and dispersing agitators rotate and revolute around the main axis, like two planets. It has been widely recognized for its outstanding mixing efficiency and effect.

Machine Structure
The Double Planetary Mixer mainly consists of the tank, mixing and dispersing agitators, planetary box, motor, control system, etc.. Besides, it can also be customized with scraper, heating/cooling jacket, temperature test senor, vacuum pump, weighing sensor, explosion proof, and safety controlling etc. per to the production needs for different materials.
For mixing agitator, screw frame type blade, multi-layer inclined blade, vertical frame, butterfly type etc. all can be customized. Single layer or double layers high speed discs also can be chosen. With inverter, frequency adjusting speed.

Using HMI to link PLC, frequency converter, motor, feeding port, temperature sensor and other components can provide more convenient human-computer interaction.
Working Principle
During the production process, can input the parameters and production flow, the feeding port starts feeding. The low-speed mixer starts to rotate and revolute around the main axis, causing the material mixing up and down. The high-speed disperser rotated in the same direction, to shear, disperse and mix materials in high efficiency.

The scraper will scrape off the material attached to the tank and mixing again. The closed tank and vacuum pump to make sure the whole mixing process under vacuum condition. Through the temp. test sensor, to monitor the temp. inside of the tank. Use vacuum pump to suck the air of the tank, to reduce bubbles. The max. vacuum degree can up to 0.095 Mpa. Through the temperature sensor, can test the temp., especially when heating/cooling the materials. It shows at the PLC screen. The temperature control jacket can be composed of electricity, steam, water, oil, refrigerant, etc. to achieve cooling or heating.
The Double Planetary Mixer is mainly used in the high density & viscosity materials. After mixing, will be discharged by extrusion machine. Use hydraulic station to press the materials out from the tank.
Application
The Double Planetary Mixer is particularly suitable for mixing, dissolving, reacting, dispersing, dissolving, homogenizing, emulsifying and other processes of high viscosity and high-density materials. It’s widely used in electronics, chemical, pharmaceutical, food and other industries.

Material
The material of the mixer can be customized of SS304, SS316, or carbon steel. Surface treatment technologies such as Teflon spraying, polyurethane spraying, silicon carbide spraying, and hard chrome plating are also widely used.
